Dare County and the National Park Service invite you to join us for the Dare A250 Life, Liberty and Liftoff Faire on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at the Wright Brothers National Memorial—a site that stands as a symbol of American courage, discovery, and innovation.
This free, full-day patriotic festival will celebrate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence through the theme “Liberty, Legacy, and Liftoff in the Land of Beginnings.” This milestone celebration will honor the history, innovation, and spirit of our county and the Outer Banks through a day of music, food, drink, vendors, performances, and patriotic community spirit.
The event will bring together local organizations, artists, and volunteers to commemorate 250 years of culture and history in Dare County.
The Dare A250 Faire is sponsored in part by The Outer Banks Visitors Bureau.

Free admission. Download your tickets beginning February 13, 2026.
