The following is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and tips to better prepare yourself and your family for this day of festivities.
The entire Dare A250 Faire event is completely free. The day begins in the heart of historic Manteo with a lively, open-air celebration that is free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.—no tickets required. As the daylong festivities continue, the Dare A250 celebrations will transition to a powerful grand finale at Roanoke Island Festival Park beginning at 3:30 p.m. This second portion of the Dare A250 Faire is also FREE—however, due to venue capacity, advance tickets are required.

With several streets closed to drivers during this event, parking within the downtown area of Manteo, NC will be extremely limited.
A free shuttle service will run every ten minutes to transport attendees to and from off-site parking lots to Queen Elizabeth Avenue in downtown Manteo and back.
