To celebrate the Fourth of July, Kill Devil Hill's hosts a fireworks show. In honor of America’s 250th, the 2026 fireworks display will be bigger than before! Fireworks are launched from the end of a popular fishing pier in the center of Kill Devil Hill's.
Residents and visitors are invited to visit one of our many beach accesses, where beach chairs can be set up to watch the spectacular show.
Fireworks have long been a national symbol of Independence Day, representing both celebration and remembrance, and it provides a shared civic experience that brings the community together as we publicly commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
