About the event
In celebration of the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence, Dare County and the National Park Service will host a full-day patriotic festival at the Wright Brothers National Memorial, a site that represents American courage, discovery, and innovation.
This historic occasion will be part of a nationwide observance organized by the U.S. Semiquincentennial Commission.
